Measurement Tips

  • Consistency is Key

    Measure at the same time of day, preferably in the morning before eating or exercising.

  • Tape Tension

    The tape should be snug against the skin but not tight enough to indent the flesh.

  • Margin of Error

    This method usually has a 3-4% margin of error compared to DEXA scans but is excellent for tracking trends.
